2006 TDI (BRM) DSG transmission reinstall

Hey everyone,

I just finished swapping out the DMF and i cannot get the transmission aligned with the DMF all the way. The centre dowel/pin on the transmission has gone inside the flywheel but from how it looks the splines have not. i just cannot move the trans any further in to the flywheel even though the trans has a straight path into the flywheel.

Any insight will be appreciated.

You need to turn the crank clockwise a little at a time to line up.

I managed to get it in after a few hours. phewww
