Mk2 golf tdi in the UK

Hi guys a few pics of my tdi mk2. Its an ahu with saab fmic, .216's and cat removed......for now. Also has heated recaros, g60 brakes, bbs rims and i have cruise control to go on soon

Nice. Cover removed? that looks like an ALH cover. You have an AHU underneath - I guess the piping is more AHU...

Either way nice. Must net you some really good fuel economy numbers.

Hi yes its AHU underneath and tried to keep it as OEM as possible but I much prefer the mk4 cover as it looks tidier. As for economy its mega cheap to run, did 280 miles on the weekend on 1/3'rd of a tank

also have a VNT conversion with a mapped ECU, 3 bar map and 2.5" exhaust to go on soon, along with a PD inlet and hopefully a ported head

Ok guys now sporting a gt1749vb turbo conversion with 2.5" turbo back stainless exhaust, passat pd130 inlet,mapped ecu, mk2 GTD airbox with polo variant tdi link pipe to the turbo inlet pipe deleting the MAF meter, also engine cover from a 2.0 16v tdi skoda octavia which ive grafted the vw badge on

Sweet, looks like it came from the factory with that engine.
