have '02 Jetta w. auto trans engine hunts when "throttle" just barely depressed and moving roughly 20 to 30 mph. - definitely engine not trans. Possibilities I see are - engine speed sensor, throttle position sensor or from reading forum egr valve. New fuel filter.
