OK Guys I have a 2004 Jetta TDI Wagon -I am thinking of replacing the brakes sometime within the next 6 months or so--No there is nothing wrong at this time, but when I do replace the rotors what are the best rotors to go with--I do not race this thing I am very easy on it, but if I am going to need to replace the rotors why not get some that are really good quality and maybe a bit better braking-Again I find nothing really wrong with the stock brakes, but do I want t go with drilled, or drilled & slotted, etc etc. I will also be replacing my brake lines I will go with Spiegler stainless lines. just trying to do some minor upgrades. By the way this car is bone stock

Go with the power stop euro brakes on rock auto. I have them and they are super nice and great for the cash. Cost me about 170 for front and rear pads and rotors. Rotors are zink coated too.

If you're still taking suggestions: Zimmerman rotors with ATE pads all around

drilled or slotted are both negatives unless you're going through five sets of pads in a day
