US Diesel Ok Now?

Going down to Buffalo for a couple of days. Is the diesel in the US now days given the HPFP issues in the past for the last generation of VW Diesels?

IIRC, the problem was with the HPFP. Newer CR cars with the upgraded pump don't have the failure problem. If you're worried, just add some Power Service Silver or a splash biodiesel for lubrication. That's what I do in our '15.

I'd been driving all over the USA, Canada and Mexico with my 2002 Jetta and filled up wherever including no-name stations, never ever experienced any problems of any kind !!!.

Doing the same with my 2015 Passat.
