Help w/running aux power off fuse panel?

Could anyone give me a rundown, or a link to instructions, on how to run an "auxillary" power line off the fuse panel? I'm hardwiring for an iPod, and need a 12vdc power source, and want to leave the "cig lighter" power socket as is.

On page 15 of this rather lengthy pdf, there's a pic of a terminal on the fuse panel that provides switched power. You just need a ring terminal and an inline fuse.

The terminal on the left end that has the gray wire running up from it is switched power (on when the ignition's on, off when the ignition's off) It's not fused, though, so you'll want to slap an inline fuse on there.
