Thanks, if not for you guys I would have bought a 1.8T (also a great car). I'm very happy with the purchase; I made the right choice. The TDI is a fuel miser that's fun to drive. My first tank gave me a hair above 45 mpg, which IMHO is surprising for a 70 city/30 highway with the ac on 99% of the time. I drive in congested parts of NE New Jersey and in Manhattan, NY.

p.s. i foresee a chip in my not so distant future. i like extra power on demand,but only use it when needed.
