I thought of a way to easily prime the fuel system by running the electric fuel pump in our Passat TDIs without a VCDS after fuel filter changes.

Why not just jump across the electric fuel pump relay in the relay box with a wire, and run the pump continuously until you feel the fuel system is sufficiently primed? Seems to me like it would work.

Anyone have a diagram of the fuel pump circuit and/or the relay box, so I can see exactly how to perform this task? Additionally, where exactly is the fuel pump relay? Anyone know which terminals should be connected in order to run the pump? If one of you all already has this figured out, it would save me a bit of time.

Thanks in advance!
