Which way should I go with an ML 270cdi.

Hello,

I have a MK4 Golf TDI 130 with 2256.

Now, my best friend has a 270cdi with software, giving +/- 195hp and 470nm.

We would like to go beyond that numbers , what would you do?

I have a 2359 turbo from a 320cdi, would you take that one? or upgrade to the 2260vk?

Should i get the 30cdi nozzles?

I don't know where is more or less the limit in that block 250hp? 550nm?

Better take the GT2359V, it has bigger exhaust turbine than gtb2260vk.

With C30 AMG injectors you can make lot of torque, more than transmission can handle and way more than 250hp.

Engine block is strong.

GT2359V is good for 270-280hp.

Care for good intercooler and free flow exhaust.

And find a real good remapper for MB engines. ;-)

So you would go with the 2359 and achieve like 240hp and 540nm? with stock injectors?

because the problem is de Torque for the 726 gearbox...

I have seen that your 320cdi is giving 275 and 750nm ??

Stock injectors? and the gearbox? is still ok?

Hy, yes, with stock injectors and stock rail pressire you get about 100Nm per cylinder with 90mg IQ but you can raise to about 110mg with stock CR pressure and acceptable injection timing.
My gearbox is still ok, but i wont bet that it lasts forever.
580Nm is OEM specification, so 600-650Nm should be quite safe and durable.
Important: Change transmission oil every 60.000km and use oil for MB 7 G-tronic transmission (236.14) You must use special pump device to flush out all old oil and pump in new oil, otherwise you cant get rid of the oil in torque converter.
GT2359V is very good and durable turbo for this engine, 1.8bar boost is no problem with correct MAP sensor.
