Ok, last week I isolated a short in my defrost switch wiring. I ran a temporary wire between the X75 terminal (switched ignition) and the defrost switch (with proper fusing). The experiment worked, no more blown fuses.
I would like to re-assign the fuse of the defrost switch to a vacant location in my fuse box. I know I need a repair wire at the defrost switch (000 979 227), but what repair wires do I need at the fusebox for a new fuse assignment? same repair wire?
