I've got a 2015 GSW bought new in 2018, and since I bought it I've been meaning to replace the donut with a full size spare because I tend to spend a lot of time on gravel roads where a donut is no fun.

This of course caught up to me this week, when I flatted out on a pothole, destroying the tire. I've got about 17k on the tire, which is a little much for just replacing one tire. My plan is to get a second new tire so I've got matching new fronts, and then put one of the existing tires on a spare. The issue I'm running into is that the tires are 18" Durbans, and I can't find a steel rim in that size from any online seller (18x7.5 5x112, 51 offset if I'm reading the runes correctly). Anyone got ideas for sources? Or am I probably SOL and need to buy a single matching wheel?

You're not going to find a steel wheel that size, I don't think. I'd look for someone on CL selling a single 18" VW alloy wheel.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Going to be about $300, but so it goes. Then the question becomes whether to run a 5 tire rotation...

I have a beat up 18" Bristol from our Passat that got curbed, shipping plus $50 it'd make a great spare.

Finally ordered another Durban and tire. I don't need a TPMS on a 2015, just a regular valve stem, right?
