ok i did a search but no luck. i started getting a short, high pitched, faint "eeeeeep" noise when i first crank the ignition in the morning this past week. is this a sign of low battery voltage or something? 2002 golf gls. thanks in advance.

ok, i am a moron. it was my ac-dc power inverter in the hatchback compartment that had the switch accidently turned to on; when the electrical power supply was turned on and off (by starting the engine), the power would go off temporarily and it made this high pitch whining noise whenever that happened...
