Throttle lag time

I am a new TDI owner,,being my first TDI,,I am asking about throttle lag time. This is very hard for me to get used to. My car is totally stock,,,2013 automatic trans,,been ran thru the mill with the new omissions work. Is there any hope for something to help this problem or is it something I will need to get used to?

To clarify,,,I am talking about the lag from standing start at a stop sign to say 30 MPH,,,doggy as hell

After the emission fix these cars are no longer the same. You need to look into a tune to revive your ride.
