Best gear oil for 5 Speed Manual Conversion.

I plan on using Red Line lightweight shock proof oil in my O1E.

It's a good thing it is sock proof. Those can kill a gearbox if it gets in there! LOL

Well I just had the box apart, so no socks in there. Don't think I'll get one through the fill hole.

Sorry to bring this one back from the dead but I'm finishing up my swap and have put 2 liters of OEM fluid back in and seems like it could take more. How many liters do the fhn/duk require from dry?

IIRC it is 2.2 liters.
