TDIClub Enthusiast, Vendor
SOLD SOLD SOLD
2003 Jetta GL Wagon, Indigo Blue, 146k miles
This TDI was purchased new by Clay Peyton, a founding TDIClub member. He was the only owner and driver of this car. I purchased it today. Garaged when not in use.
Black cloth interior
5 speed
Alloy wheels 16 inch Conti tires
NO sunroof
Rubber mats
All keys (3)
Timing belt system services ~100k by me
Just after purchase, the following mods were installed:
-.205 nozzles
-H & R springs and Koni shocks/struts. The original springs/struts/shocks are boxed in car.
-VDO boost and oil pressure gauges in A pillar mount
Other mods:
-Class 1/2 hitch
-Sony double din flatscreen stereo system w/remote. Bluetooth. OEM stereo in car.
-Spare steelies w/hubcaps x 4, with mounted snow tires in car, included.
-Elephant nose for much of it’s life
-Tinted windows
The bad:
-Mild rust noted around hatch glass, and hatch edges. This is common on 15 year old wagons
-Rust bubble forming at base of right front fender. I suspect mulch in fender liner as culprit
-Noticeable door ding right quarter panel below fuel door
-A/C does not work..Clay reports bad compressor
-I suspect it needs sway bar and lower control arm bushings. Drives nice but occasional clunk
I will be unable to do any significant work on this cars due to inability to access garage at this time. I can do routine services on the car prior to delivery at purchasers request/expense.
I will edit this as I find things I have missed.
This car can not leave Kentucky until I receive the new title. This will take up to 21 days. Car will remain solely posted here only until I receive title. It will then go to craigslist and Facebook marketplace.
$3500 for what some consider the grail in TDI wagons.
