First post!

Does anyone know if a problem with a glow plug is covered under Certified Pre-owned Warranty?

The Check Engine Light came on last week--we had it read at CarQuest and it showed P0674 (I think that is it; I wrote the code down and looked it up online and it said one of the glow plug sensors showed a problem).

Does the CPO warranty cover that?

THe only way to find out for sure is to go the dealer and see what they tell you. If you're under the CPO still, the diagnosis may be free.

Just for your reference should the dealer not cover this: you can buy four glow plugs for your 2003 online for about $60... The dealers normally charge more than double that... (keep in mind that for the 2004 and newer TDI's, there is a completely different type of GP...)

My glow plug light came on (blinking light). Brake light went inoperative and cruise control went inoperative. Solution was replacing brake light switch.

Good Luck
