Newbie Question - Turbo upgrade

Hey there,

First of all I don't know much about car modding so, I thought you guys can give me a hand.

I own a Passat CC 103kw(140hp). I did an ecu upgrade(chipping) and got it to 180hp.

I want to upgrade the turbo too. I don't know which turbo code or anything that I can search for and buy. Also I asked some of my friends and they said that CC had a Golf mk6 engine.

So please refer me to some guide or anything.

How much horsepower do you want to make? You may need more than just a turbo and tune if you want more than 220 horsepower. Then you'd need a CP3 high pressure fuel pump.

Can I use other cars turbo kit which means cheaper for me. I mean does the passat B7 turbo works with my car?

Also what about downpipe and EGR off?

You'll need a kit specifically for your particular engine. Profidiesel can also answer your questions about the egr delete.
