The newest issue of Consumer Reports magazine has a test of 195/65R15 tires (on a 2002 Honda Accord).
Among the three OEM tire models for the a4 VWs, the Michelin MXV4+ was the highest (but also highest in price out of all of the 195/65R15 tires in the article), followed by the Continental CH95, then the Goodyear Eagle LS. That isn't very surprising, given the comments about these tires on this board...
But the top rated tire was some Falken tire. I don't remember the model number, but Falken's web site (http://www.falkentire.com) lists only one model, the ZIEX 512, as being available in that size. And it even has a 91 load rating and 44psi pressure limit, according to Falken's web site. Just behind were two Bridgestone tires that are frequently talked about here (Turanza LS-H and RE950).
