Anyone ever do a heated steering wheel conversion?

Or am I going to be the first..??

Wasn't an option, at least in north america.

I am having to make a couple of mods to make it work.

I'll post up a how to once i'm finished

I just checked fleebay, and sure enough... there's a heated Mk7 wheel available for $188. The connections look super similar to the ones our the Phaeton / Touareg wheel. This should be an easy project once you get the correct clock spring.
