Hi folks, My first oil change is coming up and i don't want to take it to the dealer for oil change.Wondering if it will be an issue with the warranty if i buy oil and filter from the dealer and change it myself? Thanks

In the past, I have kept photo logs with date stamp.

Pic of oil showing 507 label
Pic of filter showing VW part number
Pic of odometer

No issue, unless you do something stupid like mess up the o-ring on the filter housing. You don't even need to buy from the dealer, as long as it meets VW 507.00 specifications.

(Personally I get it from the dealer, as it's the same price or better than anywhere else).
