Hi ive been trying to do some research on this and cant really find what im looking for. I have a P0238 Code and I am testing the sensor connector.
1.) Brown/Blue- 0v
2.) Grey/Green- Checked from pin to chassis ground- 5v
3.) Purple/Red- Checked from pin to chassis ground- 5v
4.) Yellow/Black- I have a good ground
All tests were don wit the Key ON, Enging OFF

I followed the wires back about a foot and i didnt see any damage and there was no visible corrosion on the connector.
Im not sure what to do next from what ive read these sensors rarely fail.
Any input or other diagnostics i can do would be appreciated.

Im wondering if its worth removing the MAP sensor and trying to clean it??

We don't see many problems with that sensor. I searched but couldn't find any simple electrical test, maybe the repair manual has something. Should be someway to check if it's operating. Perhaps check connects at the other end of those wires.

Yeah, it's all but impossible. Bentley manual, wiring diagrams in the back. Sometimes your public library carries those. Or someone may know.

Pins 1 and 2 have some sort of a variable resistor across them.
Pins 3 and 4 have some sort of a circuit possibly the temperature sensor. This device also connects to pin 1.

All 4 pins go to the ECU
Sensor - ECO pin:
1 - 52
2 - 73
3 - 31
4 - 71
Maybe check continuity to each end and for cross shorts or grounds.

The only reason I replaced mine is because I dropped it and broke the cover of the sensor.

So I replaced the MAP sensor friday and cleared the codes. And so far so good! The car feels so fast after driving it in limp mode for over a week lol.
