VCDS Question

I have a 2000 Jetta TDI and need a TB change within 15,000 mi so i purchased the VCDS system to have some of the tools i need.
My question is when i went to check the timing of my motor on the graph it says that my engine temp is not warm no matter what the coolant temp is at it is at 90c. Is there a solution for this?

Are you saying with your engine fully warmed up that it stills says too cold?

The motor is warm VCDS says its not I also checked the coolant with a thermometer and it matches the coolant gauge

You can verify in measuring blocks, group 1. Does it match the value in the instruments module (17) (forgive me I can't remember exactly where to look but it would be in measuring blocks)? If no, your sensor is bad.

Yes the measuring block group dose mach and i have replaced the temp sensor a month ago.

I've had a couple of the $15 sensors that were bad right out of the box.
