Hi,
Over the last month I have gotten intermittent driver side seat belt alarm on my 2009 Jetta Sportswagen. If I touch the latch/buckle, or move it around a bit the alarm will go off, but then later in the drive the alarm will resume. I assume there is faulty switch
I've read on the forum that it may be possible to disable the alarm with the VCDS or disconnect a wire under the seat. I don't own the VCDS.
However, what would a proper fix be? Can I replace the seat buckle assembly, or is the switch inside the seat buckle replaceable?
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
