I am moving this from the MK4 thread and reposting..
So after my 09 JSW was bought back, I purchased an 05 tdi 5m wagon with a blown motor. I have always had the dream to fix up a car and drive it. My job is 55 miles away each way so it would be really great to have back a TDI.
I got a replacement engine hooked to an automatic. Just wishing I could find someone to help me do the swap and maybe the timing belt on the replacement engine. Could pay you in beer. Or even work out a deal if you help me getting her running you could have the extra auto trans. Just a thought.
I know, going out on a huge limb here.
