The EA pricing is messed up though. If your car draws less than 75kW, you pay $0.20/min. If you car (even theoretically) draws above 75kW, you pay $0.59/min. The Kona reports that it can take 78kW (nobody has ever seen it draw this much however), so we always get socked with the higher rate. So I avoid EA until someone (Hyundai or EA) comes up with a resolution.
Fortunately there are other options, including charging at home.
My Spark draws 50kW max, works for me. :D

Probably a leak and too costly to repair or replace the tanks and pumps. Environmental issues involved and cause a huge expense and liability. If you aren't making a huge amount of money at it better to stop and empty/pull them. Might also be a good idea to take all the tax and grant money that seems to be available for electrification.

Company I worked for years back wanted to put in a new chemical tank farm. City of Evanston said they had to bury it. Illinois DNR and EPA said that if we burried all those tanks we had to put in monitoring wells. Total estimate was around $16 million. We chose to build a new plant for $15 million across the boarder in Wisconsin.

Drove by an old station by me this morning. Their pumps have been gone so long, I can't remember what brand they sold. What I don't understand though is how they have kept the doors open. They're not easy to get in and out of and they're far enough off the highway that you'd miss them if you didn't know they were there.

I know of several places like this that have turned to only repair work long ago. Most have lifetime customers as they do very good work. Hard for a new customer to even get an appointment with some of these kinds of places. You almost have to wait for an old customer to die before they accept new ones.

I ran into one of the mechanics, that works at the first place that pulled the pumps, at the tavern across the street from the place. I asked him why they pulled the pumps and he told me that the gas just wasn't worth the effort, especially with six gas and go's right down the street from them. He also said they have more than enough work with repairs and towing. I told him about the station in the OP putting in the charging stations and he said there's no room for them. He's right too, 'cause I know they're always parking their excess work in a lot across from them.
The latest place that pulled the pumps put up a sign saying they're VW/Audi specialists and their lot is full with work.

98 Jetta TDI AHU 1.9L (944 TDI swap in progress) I moved so now i got nothing but an AHU in a garage on a pallet.
It kinda makes sense. Tacoma park md is a wasteland for a gas station. I bet that place made no profits for decades. Now it will get business vs before.
