98 NB TDI 1.9 Manual Transmission Gear Selector Lever

Can somebody please provide the part number for the 98 NB TDI 1.9 Manual Transmission Gear Selector Lever and, if possible, how to replace it?

The replacement is pretty striaght forward, assuming it is like the cast ones on the other 5 speeds. Remove the cable by removing the clip and pin. There is a nut on top of the jagged round hole. Remove the nut and either use a gear puller or some gentle prying to loosen the taper fit.
I looked at my 98' bug and don't see this part, so I can't help you with the part number.
