I want to put the following guages in my 2000 Jetta:
Boost, EGT, Oil Press, Fuel Press,Oil Temp, and ambient temp.

Nobody seems to make pillar mounts for more than two guages.

Some of you guys must have more than two or three guages in you cars. Care to share pics and or ideas??

as soon as I have the money I will be ordering a set of westach 2 in 1 gauges.

Each gauge has two needles. They will custom make the gauge for you.

I plan
oil temp/oil pressure
turbo boost/TIT
IAT/CHT

total cost with senders and gauges is going to be around $320. Going to mount them in the cubby between radio and cup holder.

osidak,

Please post a pic of your gauges once installed, as this is precisely the location where we would like to eventually install 2-3 gauges.

Thanks!

Dorado,

Many people on the vortex have done this. Check out this URL for a 2 gauge install.

Cubbyhole gauge install at vwvortex

I've seen pics of a 3 gauge install. There's just enough room for it.

The blank panel is a VW part. You should be able to find the part number on the vortex.

I haven't done this (yet), but the only problem that I've read about is getting the panel to stay in the dash hole once the gauges are installed in it. Apparently if you install 3 gauges, you have to cut off some of the holding tabs on the panel.

Hope this helps,
