Unless VW gets either the Tiguan TDI or the new SUV they are announcing in Detroit has a TDI, I'm jumping ship to Audi. I've looked at the Q5 and it's everything I want, except right now the US hasn't received the TDI. I wish they'd put the 170hp 2.0 in it instead of the V6, but I understand the certification issues.
I just got 30MPG in my 2.0 TSI Tiguan this morning with a slower than average freeway commute (some might have called it hypermiling), and I'd bet this Q5 would have been more like 35-38 under the same circumstances, and a lot more fun to drive.
