Hey, there's a few owners in Portland/Salem area. Good people, all.

Lot's of good stuff here - Upsolute, biodiesel

And the bad stuff - intake soot, MAF

But these are wonderful road cars, enjoy!

Welcome to the elite !!!! You will find this a most informative site and especially the comaradery among TDI owners is great!! Hope to see you at a GTG some time. Will Oregonians organize a GTG so Washingtonians get a chance to attend ??

I'm a TDI'r from Portland! Seems that Oregonians have been coming out of the woodwork in the last few days.

I've had my black 01 Golf GLS since April and love it, even with some minor problems.

I'd love to have a GTG down here, but might have to wait for spring. A Mt. Hood/Columbia Gorge drive sounds awesome...

I've been to Boring Burger! Boring is a real town, east of Portland on hwy 224 IIRC.

Yup Boring is a real place name, and there's no more Boring Burger, it's a Paola's now :-*

I'm from the Portland area, and visit frequently.. but most of my time is at the southern end of the state. A PDX-area GTG would be great, because while I watch both the Olympia WA and northern CA groups, attending either is a bit of a stretch. Heck, a Medford/Ashland-area GTG would be better, but none of the TDI'rs I've talked to down here are enthousiasts.

I'd be interested in a PDX GTG; like to meet w/some of the others and see what kind of mods they've done to their cars to get some ideas.

Interested in coming up to Olympia on the 1st for a working GTG and showing of the latest mod's - would shure like to extend the hsopitality!!!!
