Hay guys
I need an opinion
I have a 2003 alh engine just installed a cylinder head had everything torqued down. I need to pull the head back off. Now the head bolts went right in the trash would not even think of reusing them. Now the question the head gasket would you replace it as well engine has not had a heat cycle.

Stupid Friends.
Had two buddys deceid to help me while I was at work. They could not find the TDC mark on the flywheel. In thier infinet wisdom they deceided to find TDC with a dowel rod down the glow plug hole and proceded to break off the dowel rod. They have been baned from my tools and my car. Thier quote was that works on my small block chevy.I wanted to beat the tar out of them with my cheater pipe.

Oh that sucks. I guess you better pull the head, and replace all gaskets, unless you want to do it yet again. If you can leave the intake and exhaust manifolds connected at least you could get away without replacing those.
