Hello all I am new here and trying to learn and search as much as possible, but I have a question.

Will MK6 Golf R front brakes fit on a 2003 Golf TDI. I just happen to have a like new set off my old Golf R. If not is there any way to make them fit? I also have a full Golf R suspension, flywheel and clutch. Will any of this fit or should I just sell it all.

FYI, TDI (& gasser 2.0) MK4 front brakes use a "fixed" caliper on the spindle. If you were to swap other MK4 front knuckles/spindles onto your car, I'm fairly certain you'd need adapters as the brake caliper (knuckle/spindle) mounting bolt spacing is different.

And at this point, you're not even talking about what size/hat height rotors you'd need, as the MK6 is 5x112, while the MK4 is 5x100.

Can it be done? Maybe, but it's FAR from "bolt-on".

I think you'd be better off selling all those MK6 "R" parts to someone with an MK6 and using the proceeds towards some MK4 bits and pieces.

Good luck
