2004 Jetta Wagon
Hi all,

VIN: wvwsr61j74w121748

I'm putting my Jetta wagon up for sale again since I no longer need it for work. I've reduced the price considerably. I purchased it August of 2013 with 116k on it, it now has 150k. I've done the following work since owning it:

117k- replacedstock turbo with VNT17 & oil feed line, fuel filter
120k- cabin & engine air filer, timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt
122k- crankshaft position sensor
132k- rear brake calipers, pads, rotors,
133k- front hubs & bearings
141k- front axles, new starter, new clutch with SMF conversion.

I've also been running a GDE eco tune since about 130k. Oil change schedule is has ween as follows: 116k (Castrol Edge 5w40), 122k, 129k, 138k, 146k (Liquimoly diesel hi-tech 5w40). All oil has been 505.01 compliant. I've used Stanadyne religiously with every fill up. 90% of parts were ordered with IDparts (except front axles)

I've also had both fenders and rockers addressed to take care of some rust issues. Car looks like a champ now given the age.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Peter

Hi,
Forgive the possibly ignorant questions but the last tdi I owned was a 97 Passat with the 1Z which was getting 40 mpg when I sold it with 400k on it. what kind of mpg would you expect with a gentle driver with all highway miles on your car? Which engine is it? Any fluid changes on the transmission?
Thanks,
Denwood
