fuel filter drain no star after

2000 Jetta -drained 2 oz from the fuel filter. Car restarted and then died.
refilled the fuel filter, cracked inj. Car starts runs rough for about 10 -20 sec and dies.
When I got it started the clear fuel line from the filter to the pump was very bubbly.
I checked the drain and it is tight.

The one thing I did not do is to change the o-rings in valve.

Any suggestions? thanks

change the filter and the O rings, apply a liitle lube/ oil to them prior to instalation

You got air, obviously.

Do the o-rings, crank/run it until its going and you'll be OK.
