Hi,
I run my 2003 Jetta mostly on Veggie oil, even thru the Upstate NY winters. Been fine for almost 6 years now. Lately I have had some gelling issues, where the car died while on diesel. It's never given me any problem on veggie oil. I figure I get enough lubrication with the veggie oil, but I still need a good anti-gelling product for the cold season.
I'm not sure which to use. Any advice?

When was the last time the head was off? The WVO will crack out the glycerin in a high pressure TDI pump causing a real mess in the cylinder head and rings.

I'm not sure there is any product for that application.

How are you purging for shut-down? Is the WVO percentage increasing in the un-heated diesel tank? A lot of short trips or not much petro in the diesel tank, will end up increasing the ratio of VO to diesel, eventually enough to cause (additional) problems.
