Hey guys, its been a while since I've had a TDI and just picked up a 2009 with a manual. It has about 150k miles and has never had the timing done.... I'm going to have it done asap and was wondering if there's anything else I should have done at the same time. Are there any other things that people overlook that should be done at the same time besides a timing belt and water pump? Are there any specific brands that are recommended? Do you guys have any recommendations for a newb to an 09? I've only ever had ALHs, so I'm going to be learning a bit about this. Thanks

Tom

I bought my timing belt from dieselgeek. You can also buy from them the tensioner stud; watch the timing belt pro method installation video on their website and you will save a lot of time during the timing belt replacement.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I was kinda figuring on getting my parts from them.
