2009 tax credit on turbo tax

Already started my '09 taxes using turbo tax. They list the 2010 Treg as eligible but not the '09. The IRS site clearly lists it: http://www.irs.gov/businesses/corporations/article/0,,id=214284,00.html

For now I'll leave it as a 2010 model but thought that was interesting.

What version are you using?

Using online version. It does list '09 Jettas.

Deluxe, or a higher version?

I think premier. It's a higher-end version.

You should be covered from Deluxe on up...I have used TT for the past 10+ years and, at times, experimented with using a local Accountant to see if the two differ...TT was always within $100 +/- so I have always felt very comfortable using TT for its accuracy and ability to find deductions.

I've had the same (good) experiences with TT. So it's good to hear Deluxe should include the deduction. (Makes sense, as deductions are what this version is geared toward.) Thanks for the feedback.--Chris
