Parts for the VW D24T/LT35

I am just getting started in the process of rebuilding a D24T out of a 1983 Volvo 760. It is basically the LT35. My issue is parts are getting hard to find. Specifically the oil pump, but also other small odds and ends - a dipstick and the valve shims are another issue. Does anyone know of a good place to find parts?

I'm familiar with the NA version of the D24 used in a 40kW generator application. The genset manufacturer bought the basic D24 engine from VW and modified it for vertical operation.

I fired this unit up over the past weekend and ran it for a while to give it a maintenance run.

I can't help with finding parts. The genset engine is still running on the original (31 year old) timing belt and original injector pump belt.
