Popular Mechanics High Mileage contest - Under 200K need not apply

I was browsing the Popular mechanics site today and on their front page they asked their readers to submit information regarding their high mileage vehicles. While my car doesn't quite yet apply, there are plenty of TDIers here who could throw off the readings.

Submit your high mileage TDI to Popular Mechanics

My Jetta isn't even close at 160k, but my ford pickup is at 430k... Is this for cars only? Or can I submit my f-150?
I assume that they'd take any vehicle with over 200k miles. I just wanna skew the results in favor of diesels.

My humble 285k '97 B4 has been duly submitted. I agree this is a great chance for PM to take notice of (and hopefully report, in whatever article this leads to) the inherent durability of diesels. Thanks for the heads-up!

You haven't been slacking at all. I'm now up to 150 miles/day with my new work commute. :(

You and me both. Over 200,000 of my miles were put on before July of 2003! At my previous rate, I would have had almost 500K by now.

i just sold my '97 TDI with 315k on the clock; the new owner should submit it himself since i already have. will they cancel out multiple entries of the same car?

Don't think they ask for your VIN, so there is no way to disqualify your entry. Since it was your car while it had those miles, I would think that it would still count.
