DSG converstion from petrol to diesel.

Hey,
Been thinking about a project recently a little over ambitious I know.
But I would love a DSG 8P Quattro Tdi...Would a petrol Quattro DSG box mate up to the TDI engine?

It would not work because the gear ratio's are way different between a TDI and a petrol car.
