LED plate/reverse light resistor

I am installing led's in the plate and reverse lights on a 10 A3 and need to know what ohm and wattage resistor to solder in. I know there are led's that come with resistor buitl in, these dont and if a quick stop at radio shack will fix my problem no return and shiping cost would be nice. Thanks for any help.

no clue how to find that resistance for you, but i'm interested if you get it to work. subscribed
