Exaust

Anybody know where you might get a ceramic coated exaust manifold for the 1.9 tdi non pd lots less heat translated into engine compartment.

You have to take the turbo apart then send the manifold off ot get coated.

I used www.swaintech.com do a search I posted pictures.

possiby buy an extra manifold. couln't find anything here

Couldn't you just wrap it with header tape?

I could also port the manifold if i did the ceramic coating. makes the exaust lose less heat and transferrs less heat to the engine compartment. getting kinda to the nitty gritty though isn't it. tape on the inside of the manifold would be a little weird

Over at www.thedieselstop.com if you do a search there is a lot of information on how to ceramic coat the manifold. A lot of powerstroke owner's have done that.

I have a friend that could do it. I just wondered if anyone else had had it done yet.
