Swapping a non-PD engine for PD Unit (Conversion)

Hi all,

I was thinking about swapping a 1.9tdi PD130 engine from a skoda fabia into my Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI 110 along with the 6 speed gearbox.

Couple of questions:
1) what parts other than the engine itself gearbox will i need?
2) What kind of costs would i be looking at to have this swap? (more for the Uk guys)
3) Does the south bend stage 3 clutch work on the 6 speed gearbox as well?
4) Is there anything else i need to consider in doing this conversion?

Thanks.

you need
-engine harness( both plugs going to the ECU)
-ECU
-depending on what year is your car versus donor car you may need the instrument cluster(immo2 vs immo 3 thing)
-A/C line from compressor to evaporator/fire wall
-A/C line from compressor to condenser
-coolant hose(top) from reservoir to engine
-Coolant hose(botton) from reservoir to lower part of the engine
-power steering line from reservoir to power steering pump
-power steering line from pump to steering rack
-fuel lines from fuel filter to engine
-the solenoid assembly( there is the N75 valve plus others it comes off the car in 1 piece) or at the very minimum the electrical plug from that assembly.
-in tank lift pump(need to wire this up)
- make sure that the engine comes complete with the AC compressor/power steering pump/alternator bracket.

if you swaping the 6 speed
-transmission mount
-axles
-possible steering knukles
-possible shift linkage (not in all cases)
-clutch-flywheel ( is a 240mm) so you need one
-clutch-slave cylinder lines( may be able to twist/modify yours to make them work)
-bracket for shift likage cables

im pretty sure I forgot couple things but this will give you an idea:) .
