2016 oil spec

What is the oils spec for a 2016 tsi motor? Any recommendations?

Did you already loose the owner's manual? They are full of great little details like this. Is there an online manual?

Well, common sense says that I don’t have the owners manual because I’m asking the question. It’s not my car, and the person whose it is does not have it. Responses like yours take more time to type out than it’s worth.

ONE quick Google search "oil for 2016 vw jetta tsi" - this popped up as an answer.


But basically - any oil that is approved for VW 504.00

I guess it wasn't common sense to use a search engine first then ask on a gas forum then on a diesel forum for the answer. Just go straight to the diesel forum and fire one off.

There's plenty of used owners manuals on eba if you prefer hard copy.
