So last nigh my father in law decides he is going to move my car and grabs the wrong key. Car did not start and now even with my good key I cant turn the car on and deactivate the immobilizer. I need help anyone please.

Unhook both cables from the battery, touch them together for 10 minutes, hook it back up, and try again.

Read somewhere (??) to put key in, turn to run, don't start, and leave it for 15min (???). Try that, also try the above. Both cheap and easy.

Battery disconnect did nothing but reset my clock and lock my radio.

my 2005 vw touareg was driving fine ,when i went to drive it the following morning my monitor in the instrument cluster read "immobilizer activated" now my car wont start?
i have tried the key in and on 15 minutes
i have done the disconnect the negative cable leave for 10 minutes
