When is everyone changing these if ever?

My sister’s car feels down on power a bit at 132k. Maintenance has been meticulous and a shop looked it over and said everything appeared fine.

These would be cheap and easy.

Thoughts?

I inspected the cam, the lines were all smooth and seemingly even.

Except one on cyl 1 the tip was good but 45 degrees down from that there was a very slight depression only felt not seen.

I’m sure the cam needs to be replaced but the tips were all very consistent.

I just don’t like how I can shake these connections and there is a fair amount of play in it for something that’s pressurized.

But I will spray it with soapy water to see if it gets sucked in or blown out.
