Anyone figured a trick to test exhaust backpressure? (Between Cat and Turbo)

The most obvious would be to drill and tap a hole for a fitting then add a gauge.
10-30 psi should do.

Flee that's about what I was thinking. Hate fiddling with exhaust, was hoping something else I missed. Thanks for confirming! :)

I know it means more fiddling but if you're wondering about the cat being
plugged maybe you can tell by looking if there is a clamp close enough behind it.
It's been so long since my exhaust was stock I can't remember how it looked.
Currently have a BuzzKen with one of his cats.

Hmmm not sure what you mean by a clamp close behind it?

Sorry not great with exhaust like the tuners. haha

I guess I could feel the pressure at the tailpipe too as a crude gauge on restriction.

What I mean is being able to remove the pipe behind the cat and look inside. The
ALH cat is pretty free flowing and doesn't usually have much back pressure.
If you've been using a lot of fuel and 'rolling coal' that is a different story, though.

I think the easiest way to diagnose if it's clogged is to unbolt the downpipe from the turbo and take it for a run. It'll be loud of course - but should tell you if there is an improvement.
