Jetta TDI fuel pump needed

Hi! I’m new here and I’m posting for my partner. He needs a fuel injection pump in his 1998 Jetta TDI. Our mechanic told us the part was only made for 2 years so it’s hard to find. Does anyone here have any leads on that part?

What's wrong with it? If it's just leaking the seals can be replaced if one is careful and follows the procedure exactly.
