Anyways, in case anyone is wondering, the timing belt is also used to run the high-pressure fuel pump to feed the fuel rail (as in,
commonrail) so that is what that extra little sprocket is above the alternator.
The engine is 2.0L, has a chain driven balance shaft module in the oil pan run off the oil pump, has 16 valves driven by two camshafts and has roller followers with little HLAs in the head, like many other engines use. The belt turns one cam, then the other cam is driven via a gear under the valve cover like Toyotas and others do.
