I paid $2.82/gallon Thursday here in Savannah Georgia. My wife already used the Kroger Fuel points , so I missed out on sub-$2.50/gallon pricing.

I drove from Saint Paul to Madison on Friday, about a 7 1/2-hour round-trip. Most stations along I-94 were $2.89 from Saint Paul to Eau Claire, but then from Osseo to Madison most diesel was priced at $2.49. So on the way back I filled up in Osseo.

Stay warm up there! My son was in Milwaukee over the weekend (now lives in Madison) and said his car started, albeit reluctantly, after sitting for two days.

I was even surprised to see the Kwik Trip at Tomah with that price. Usually that is one of the higher priced stations, along the highway.

Diesel is sliding a little around here but you have to look for it. Most stations are still at $2.59 but a few have dropped to $2.43 in Lake Wylie, SC.
