The Clutch on my 03' MKIV Jetta was Identified to have a bad Throw Out Bearing. Is this something that needs to be replaced fairly soon? Would this be something that would cause people to stall alot starting from 1st gear?

You will probably need a new clutch soon. It might be a good time to upgrade to a VR6/G60 clutch and flywheel kit. Do your research.
